South Salt Lake Chamber

The South Salt Lake Chamber Golf Classic is one of our favorite events of the year. It brings local businesses and community partners together for a day on the course, a little friendly competition, and the chance to connect with people who care about South Salt Lake.

The tournament also supports our work connecting local businesses with schools and students. Through the Chamber’s Business & Education Committee, we’re building relationships that can lead to internships, job shadows, mentorships, and other opportunities for students to explore their futures.

Each year, businesses come together to support this work while enjoying friendly competition, meeting new people, and celebrating what makes South Salt Lake’s business community special.

2026 Golf Classic Recap

On September 25, 2026, we gathered at Glendale Golf Course for another memorable South Salt Lake Chamber Golf Classic. From the first tee to the final awards, the day was filled with friendly competition, new connections, and generous support for our local community.

Thank you to everyone who played, sponsored a hole, contributed prizes, volunteered, or helped bring the tournament to life. Your participation helps the Chamber strengthen relationships between local businesses and schools and create more opportunities for South Salt Lake’s youth.

Connecting Businesses & Schools

One of the most meaningful parts of the 2026 tournament was the opportunity to connect businesses with ways to support local students and educators. Several businesses submitted pledges to support our local schools, and the Chamber is following up to help connect those businesses with opportunities that match their interests and capacity.

There are many ways to get involved, including mentoring students, hosting interns, offering job shadows, speaking at career events, volunteering, and providing supplies or other resources.
