Business & Education

Connecting classrooms to careers and working toward a future where 100% of our kids are thriving.

The South Salt Lake Chamber’s Business & Education Committee brings local businesses, schools, and community organizations together to help students thrive by connecting them with meaningful career opportunities before they graduate.

Across South Salt Lake, schools and community partners are working toward a shared vision: 100% of our kids thriving. Reaching this goal takes all of us. By connecting education with local industry, we can help students explore career possibilities, develop practical skills, and see a path toward a successful future.

Schools and organizations need business partners who can share their expertise, provide mentorship, host workplace tours, support internships and apprenticeships, participate in career days, and introduce students to different industries.

These partnerships benefit students and businesses alike. Businesses can help shape the future workforce, build relationships with local schools, and introduce students to their industries and workplace cultures while investing in the long-term success of our community.
