The South Salt Lake Chamber Ambassador Program is a group of engaged, relationship-driven professionals who serve as the welcoming face of the Chamber. Ambassadors play a key role in helping members feel connected, supported, and engaged from day one.
This program is designed for individuals who enjoy building relationships, supporting local businesses, and being actively involved in the South Salt Lake business community.
Our Purpose
Ambassadors support the growth, engagement, and retention of Chamber members by creating meaningful connections and ensuring every business feels welcomed and valued.
They serve as a bridge between Chamber staff and members—helping communicate opportunities, share resources, and strengthen the overall member experience.
What Ambassadors Do
Welcome New Members
Help new members feel comfortable and connected by greeting them at events, making introductions, and serving as a friendly point of contact.
Build Relationships
Engage with both new and long-time members to strengthen connections and encourage participation in Chamber programs and events.
Represent the Chamber
Act as a positive, visible presence at Chamber events and in the community.
Support Member Engagement
Encourage members to take advantage of their benefits and stay involved with Chamber opportunities.
Provide Feedback
Share insights, ideas, and member feedback with Chamber staff to help improve programs and services.
Key Activities
Ribbon Cuttings & Celebrations
- Attend and support ribbon cuttings for new and expanding businesses
- Welcome attendees and help create a positive, celebratory environment
- Assist with engagement, introductions, and overall experience
Chamber Events
- Attend and engage at networking events, luncheons, and mixers
- Help welcome attendees and make connections
- Support a strong, inclusive, and inviting atmosphere
Member Outreach
- Connect with members through email, phone, or in-person conversations
- Share upcoming events, opportunities, and resources
- Help members stay informed and engaged

Expectations & Participation
Ambassadors are expected to:
- Attend monthly Ambassador meetings
- Participate in at least 1–2 Chamber events per month
- Actively engage with members at events
- Maintain a positive, professional, and welcoming presence
- Support outreach and relationship-building efforts
